London, UK - 8 September 2003, 17:30 GMT - The UK government sponsored exercise simulating a chemical attack on the underground transport system in the City of London over the weekend is both timely and welcome.

The mi2g Intelligence Unit has found that there is still considerable doubt in certain corporate circles about whether a repeat 9/11 type of attack or a similar mass casualty incident will take place in the coming few years, given the noticeable scarcity of such attacks against major Western cities in the last two years.
