mi2g Celebration at Lloyd's of London
London, UK - 21 October 2003, 10:30 GMT - mi2g, the world leader
in digital risk, will be holding a major event tomorrow evening at Lloyd's
of London to mark the conferring of the 2003 Queen's Award for Enterprise
in the category of Innovation.
General Peter Istead, as the representative of Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant
of Greater London, will present mi2g with the crystal bowl and Grant
of Appointment in the historic Adam room as recognition of the innovation
achieved through mi2g's Bespoke Security
Architecture (BSA). BSA tools and methodology have assisted in pioneering
the field of digital risk management and interdependencies between technology;
people, policy and processes; trans-national legal and regulatory issues;
as well as property & casualty loss adjusting, insurance and reinsurance.
Over 80 senior executives from across the globe will be in attendance including
Chairmen, CEOs and CIOs representing government agencies, financial institutions,
regulatory authorities, professional services and the computing industry.
The mi2g welcoming committee for General Peter Istead and the distinguished
guests will consist of John Flynn, Air Marshal Sir Timothy Garden, Geoffrey
Hancock, Rear Admiral John Hilton, Robin Jackson, DK Matai and Oliver Miles.
The formal presentation will be followed by a loyalty toast to Her Majesty
The Queen.

mi2g will be renewing its pledge to its guiding principles and launch
the electronic Data Fort initiative (eDFi), the online financial services
and intelligence vault which authenticates users in three layers as they access
their personal information and money with total safety and security from hackers,
malware and spam.
The Economist, Financial Times, Prospect Magazine and Computer Weekly will
also be represented at the event.
