Fiat Money and Northern Rock's Parallels with 1973-1975
London, UK - 16 September 2007, 10:09 GMT
Dear ATCA Colleagues
[Please note that the views presented by individual contributors

ATCA conducts collective Socratic dialogue on global opportunities and threats.]
The long queues outside the British bank Northern Rock have nothing to do
with subprime US home loans. They have everything to do with today's aggressive
non-bank banking model which the ATCA Socratic dialogue submission by Andrew
Hunt has already presented. Its sudden trauma also undermines any claim that
America's subprime crisis and resultant credit crunch is a one-off event in
global capital markets and has been "contained."
